We are always interested in hosting media, although we are unable to fulfill all requests for press familiarization, or "FAM", trips. If you are interested in visiting Clearwater, please note the following general guidelines:
- Complete the Request Press Information form at least four full weeks before your anticipated visit.
- If you have any special needs or considerations, please inform us at the same time you submit the form.
- Our primary purpose is to assist working press on assignment; thus, not all of our partners can accommodate spouses, children or guests of the journalist.
- All journalists (staff as well as freelance) must provide a letter (or some other proof) of editorial assignment, e.g. on official letterhead from the assigning media outlet.
- Once your credentials have been verified, we will begin coordinating the necessary arrangements with our area partners. If less than four weeks' notice is given, we cannot guarantee all requests for assistance will be addressed.
- All requests are subject to availability. Complimentary arrangements are provided at the discretion of our industry partners.
- If you are prohibited from accepting complimentary arrangements, media rates may apply.
- At our request, you must agree to provide us with original articles or copies of the original articles, or digital or electronic copies, e.g. DVD, of all travel pieces that are produced.
