No one can afford to miss this ultimate destination, ideally situated on Florida's stunning West Coast and offering something for every visitor and every budget.
Enjoy casual and fine dining, vibrant activities and the rich history and heritage of the area in a mild, temperate climate. We invite you to soak up the fun and sun of Clearwater's outstanding coastline.
Caressed by tranquil Gulf breezes, its beaches offer miles of sugar-white sand, crystal clear waters and are consistently ranked among America's most beautiful!
Have you stopped by the Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival yet? A 21,000-square foot-tent has been filled with sand-sculpted art crafted by world-class sculptors using Clearwater’s internationally famous sugar sand. One thousand tons of sand has been transformed into an enchanted story-land, featuring classic fairy tales and modern day literary adventures, where reality and fantasy are brought to life. The ten-day celebration includes a variety of free activities including sand-sculpting classes, speed-sand demonstrations, a children’s play area, extended Sunsets at Pier 60 hours, fireworks and six nights of free concerts on the beach. On until April 26.
Clearwater has always been an incredible location for dolphin watching and even the place to meet America's most famous dolphin and star of Dolphin Tale, Winter, but more than fifty new dolphins are creating quite a buzz in Clearwater. Clearwater's Dolphins is a unique artistic initiative featuring a growing pod of more than fifty 6-foot tall fiberglass dolphins, each individually designed by a local artist and sponsored by an area business.
